The Littering Of Masks

Masks seem to be a touchy topic lately. Arguments online over them have been plentiful. Myself, I’ll wear a mask when in public, doesn’t bother me. Some people medically can not wear a mask and I respect that. One thing I have noticed more and more of that has been bothering me is the littering of disposable masks everywhere. Parking lots, parks, sidewalks and more having used masks dumped on them. Pictures of wildlife getting tangled up in a tossed mask have been circulating online as well. It is not about what mask works best in your opinion it is about being a decent person and throwing away your garbage properly. Without events like the Downtown Cleanup or the Riverbank Clean Up happening, we need to do our part more than ever to keep our communities clean.
