The City of Brandon’s street sweepers and crews hit the streets last Friday for the annual fall clean-up in Residential Zone C, Section 1.
If you want to know if they’ll be in your neighbourhood, you can check out the city’s online Street Sweeping Map (There’s a link below).
The city says you are NOT required to move your vehicles off the street, when street sweeping crews are in your neighbourhood, but if you are able to do so, it’ll greatly assist sweeping efforts.
And you are being asked NOT to rake leaves from your yard or boulevard into the streets, or on top of storm sewer catch basins. Once raked, yard debris should be properly bagged and either placed in your residential Green Cart or taken to any one of the City’s yard waste drop-off depots.
