I was in Grade 4, walking to Linden Lanes School in the Winter when I found a Tape in the snow. Upon arriving Home again at the end of the day I heard Toto’s Africa for the first time. WOW. My little brain was blown away and I’ve been listening to it ever since, howling away “RISING LIKE A LEOPARDESS ABOVE THE SERENGETI!”…
You can imagine my surprise when I realized… YESTERDAY that I’d been singing it wrong for 38 years. It’s “Rising like OLYMPUS above the Serengeti.” Nobodys perfect? Turs out I’m NOT alone.
