I want to dig my eyeball out with a spoon.
A little backstory: I got something caught under my eyelid last night before I went to bed. When that happens, I go to sleep, and it usually flushes out on its own. This time, however, it did not. I’ve tried flushing the eye out, and all the safe things that the internet recommended…to no avail. I’m giving it one more night, and if it’s still bugging me, I’m going to the doctor.
Suffice to say, it’s thrown my entire day out of whack. Spoiler alert: doing your day-to-day tasks (driving, shopping, cooking) is QUITE tricky when you have a tiny little bit of grit stuck under your eyelid. It’s crazy how one tiny thing can throw you completely out of whack.
Has that ever happened to you? Maybe you stubbed your toe, and could feel it hurt every time you took a step? Maybe someone said something offhand to you, and for whatever reason, it REALLY resonated with you, throwing you out of sorts? It doesn’t take much, but sometimes little tiny things can have a HUGE impact on their surroundings.
