Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) is opening a new appointment-based Respiratory Clinic in Brandon at the Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC) Nurses Residence Gym effective Tuesday, November 3rd.
The clinic, staffed by a physician and nurse, is for patients with respiratory symptoms such as a sore throat, runny nose, earache, cough and congestion, who feel they need to be seen by a doctor, but do not require emergency care.
Starting Monday, November 2nd, those wanting to attend can call 1-204-578-4096 to book an appointment. Anyone greater than two years of age experiencing respiratory symptoms, including those who are COVID positive, can attend without a referral. If you are unsure where to seek medical care, please call Health Links/Info Santé at 1-877-315-9257.
The Respiratory Clinic will be open Tuesday & Thursday from 5 pm – 9 pm and on Saturday & Sunday from 1 pm – 5 pm. This is not a walk-in clinic. COVID testing will be part of the assessment, if not already done. This clinic will not provide prescription refills or the flu shot.
Clinic access is only through the entrance off of Frederick Street. The entrance door will be locked, so please ring the white doorbell upon arrival. Please bring and wear a mask. You will also need to bring your Manitoba Health Card to register at the clinic.
