Christmas shopping is gonna be different this year in Westman. COVID-19 restrictions are going to impact how we shop, and how often we can shop. Not only that, we could see these restrictions become a part of everyday life even after the pandemic is over.
One idea that’s taking Toronto by storm is a form of reserving shopping times. Multiple malls in Toronto will not let patrons check online for parking spots, and to see which stores are busiest. You can even sign up for notifications to see how long you’ll be waiting to get in your favourite store. It’s a far cry from actually booking a 30-minute window to go in and shop at your favourite store, but we’re getting closer to that.
Do you think we’ll see Westman step into reserve shopping times soon, or is this an “it’s only like this because of the pandemic” thing, and it’ll end once the pandemic ends?
