Every year, the Insurance Bureau of Canada releases a list of the top 10 most frequently stolen vehicles. Some of the statistics show an increase in electronic theft as well as joyrides. Electronic theft because vehicles are getting more and more features every year like keyless entry and remote start. Joyrides seem to be a growing trend where vehicles are stolen for racing and drifting. One thing I have noticed about this list is the manufacturers, no Chevrolet, Buicks, GMC, Hyundai, KIA or Cadillacs are on the list.
