COVID-19 has halted in-person career fairs in the province, but Manitoba Career Prospects has filled the void with an online event – The Manitoba Virtual Career Fair will be held on Wednesday, January 20th.
It’s designed to help students in grades 7 to 12, university students, as well as parents and educators, to discover the wide variety of career opportunities available in the province.
The Manitoba Virtual Career Fair brings together educational institutions, employers and sector councils to help our youth, their parents and educators explore, connect and engage with representatives who can help them with career path decisions. Exciting career opportunity ideas, as well as how to reach career goals with training, education, co-op programs, scholarships, apprenticeships, and more, will be at their fingertips.
The Manitoba Virtual Career Fair features:
– 46 Exhibitors including major universities and colleges in the province such as the University of Manitoba, Brandon University, University of Winnipeg, Université de Saint-Boniface, Red River College, Assiniboine Community College, Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology, Providence University College and Canadian Mennonite University.
– 20 Live Stream Events happening throughout the day on platforms like Zoom, twitch and more
