The SIN number phone scam is back in the Brandon area.
RCMP report a recorded male voice says your social insurance number has been compromised, and you should send Google Play Cards or Bitcoins.
Simply hang-up – and contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Brandon police busted a 38-year-old man this week on assault charges.
He was arrested early Thursday morning after a person was attacked in a home.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and the suspect now has a court date in April.
