The “Coldest Night of the Year” fundraiser for Samaritan House raised $25,886 on the weekend.
66 walkers on 14 teams took part, and because it was held online due to the pandemic, many of them did their walks last week.
This year’s goal was to raise $25,000.
The Safe and Warm Shelter in downtown Brandon will benefit from the money collected.
