Break out the tackle boxes and your favorite bait. The 2021-22 fishing season officially opens Saturday, May 15th in the southern division and Saturday, May 22nd in the rest of the province. I personally don’t do a lot of fishing but I have very fond memories of when I was a kid and the excitement I would feel whenever my older brother would take me fishing. That excitement usually ended when he made me clean my own fish. Still, some wonderful memories. Is there anything better than freshly caught fish cooked up over a fire in a cast iron frypan?
