RCMP are investigating an incident in Dauphin early Thursday (July 15) morning that resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man.
At approximately 1:50 am, they say they received a report that the man knocked on the door of a home looking for help. The homeowners called an ambulance, and the 33-year-old was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. There was no word on the type of injuries the man was dealing with.
RCMP Major Crime Services was alerted immediately and have taken carriage of the investigation, which is being treated as a homicide.
The investigation continues.
