Brandon police say on September 22, 2021 at approximately 2:30 am, officers responded to a report of an individual who had been sprayed with bear mace in the area of the 700 block of Percy Street. The suspect fled the area in a cab. Police later located and arrested a 25-year-old man who is to appear in court today (Sept 22) on charges of Assault with Weapon, Possess Weapon, Fail to comply with Probation, and Possess Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order.

On September 21, 2021, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 500 block of 15th Street. Police say the suspect entered the residence between September 20 and September 21 and proceeded to cause damage to furniture upholstery by ripping it and pouring sugar on it. An 18-year-old woman was arrested, and later released to appear in court on November 18, 2021 on charges of Break and Enter and Mischief.

Police say suspects entered through a south entrance by forcing a door shortly after 5:00 am – and it’s believed nothing was stolen. On September 21, 2021, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female in the 1800 block of Brandon Avenue shortly before midnight. Police say a 32-year-old woman was in no condition to care for herself and was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On September 22, 2021, police responded to a report of an unwanted male from a residence shortly before 1:00 am. Police learned that a 38-year-old man was not to have contact with the complainant according to a release order. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today (Sept 22).

On September 21, 2021, police located and arrested a 45-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Comply with Probation. She was released to appear in court on November 3, 2021.
On September 21, 2021, police located and arrested a 22-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. She was also found to have consumed alcohol contrary to a release condition. She was later released to appear in court on November 15, 2021 on charges of Fail to Appear in court and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
