On Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1:22 am, Brandon police responded with members of BFES to a residential fire in the 1200 block of Rosser Avenue. The fire was contained to the kitchen in one of the units in the six-plex, but most of the building suffered smoke damage. All of the residents were evacuated, and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the 1500 block of 26th Street. Police say the vehicle was stolen while it was left running to warm up prior to 7:00 am. It was later recovered in Alexander, and had been completely burned. Police would like to remind everyone not to leave running vehicles unattended if you do not have command start. On November 9, 2021, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 600 block of 10th Street. Police say suspects gained entry to the shed shortly after 1:00 pm by forcing the door, and a red and black Supercycle bike was stolen.

They say suspects gained entry through an insecure door overnight and a tablet, a blue and white beach bag style purse that contained ID, Credit Cards and keys were taken. On November 2, 2021, Brandon police received a complaint of Utter Threats. Police say a man allegedly threatened to kill 5 other individuals. A 37-year-old man turned himself in for arrest on November 9, 2021, and was released to appear in court on January 31, 2021 on charges of Utter Threats X5.

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of an alleged intoxicated female, whose behavior others in the home said was escalating and they were concerned for her wellbeing. A 20-year-old woman was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On November 10, 2021, Brandon police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Princess Avenue shortly before 3:00 am. Police say the driver allegedly had two knives sitting beside him in the vehicle contrary to a release order. A 30-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and is to appear in court today (Nov 10) on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order X 3.

On November 9, 2021, police responded to a report of an alleged intoxicated female causing a disturbance in the 800 block of Princess Avenue shortly after 1:00 pm. A 42-year-old woman was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent her behavior from escalating further.

Arrest Warrants:
On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 23-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon. He was later released to appear in court on December 30, 2021.
On November 9, 2021, a 36-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, and was arrested on an outstanding charge of Assault PO. She was later released to appear in court on December 30, 2021.
On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 27-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Impaired Driving. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
On November 9, 2021, police located and arrested a 39-year-old male who was wanted on several outstanding charges of Fraud, Assault and Utter Threats. The male was later released to appear in court at a later date.
