On January 5, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of an assault at a residence shortly after 8:00 am. Officers say a 24-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man had allegedly assaulted each other. Neither received any injuries. Both individuals were arrested and later released to appear in court in March 2022.

On January 5, 2022 at approximately 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male behaving aggressively in the 100 block of 6th Street by allegedly punching and kicking inanimate objects. Police located the man, who they say was to abide by conditions of a curfew and to abstain from consuming alcohol. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and is to appear in court on March 7, 2022 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

Polie allege he was no longer welcome, but would not leave, and his family could not prevent his behavior from escalating. A 41-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

Police say a 50-year-old man was in no condition to care for himself, and there was nobody to care for him. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
