Brandon police are warning about another text scam circulating among smartphones in the city.
This latest one promises $100 to anyone who registered their vaccination status.

BPS spokesperson Kirby Sararas says “if you receive this, please delete it.”
“You only need to alert authorities if you fell victim to this fraud and provided personal information such as your credit card number – and in that case, let us know,” says Sararas. “You can also contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre to report your loss here: https://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/report
