A shed behind Tastee’s Ice Cream and Grill on 1st Street in Brandon was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon.
The blaze also reportedly extended to the back of the building and into the roofline.
No-one was hurt, and the cause is under investigation.
A social media post from Tastee’s on March 21st said “It’s the shed at the back of the building on fire this afternoon. I am so glad the fire department came so quick. Nobody hurts. Curtis and his staff from Kuipers helped us a lot. Much appreciated!
Thanks for all checking messages and phone calls. I was little panicking to be honest, but we are okay right now. We have to close for cleaning today. Will make a post when we are back to business.”
