City of Brandon’s Parks & Recreation Services wish to advise that due to the recent warm weather, the various outdoor winter recreation amenities have closed for the season, including:
The ski and snowshoe trails, located at the Wheat City Golf Course (3500 McDonald Ave). See map below.

The snowmobile routes around the city, as shown on this map:

And the fat bike trail, located behind Parker Boulevard & 6th St North.
The following toboggan hills have been closed for the season:
– Cherry Bowl, located at 34th St. & Cherry Cr.
– Parkdale Community Park & Playground, located at 201 Durum Dr.
– Hanbury Hill, located at 600 Braecrest Dr.
– North End Community Centre, located at 1313 Stickney Ave.
– Rideau Park, located at 305 Park St.
– Wheat City Golf Course, located at 3500 McDonald Ave.
On March 17th, 2022 the Skating Oval was closed for the season.
