On June 14, 2023 at approximately 4:00 am, Brandon police and Brandon Fire Emergency Services responded to a report of an employee who had fallen approximately 10.5 metres from a scaffolding area at a business in the 1200 block of 17 Street E. Police say a 41-year-old male employee suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to hospital. Police say it does not appear that any criminality was involved in the incident, and police are no longer involved in the investigation. As the business is a federally regulated workplace, responsibility of the investigation of the accident falls under Part II of the Canadian Labour Code.

On June 13, 2023, shortly after 10:00 pm, Brandon police responded with BFES to a report of a fire at a business in the 600 block of 9th Street. Police say the fire was contained to a small area on a set of outdoor stairs, which lead to the back lane, and caused minimal damage. Officers reportedly found a broken glass bottle at the scene that is believed to have contained liquid accelerant. On June 14, 2023, shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male laying in the 700 block of 10th Street. Police say a 29-year-old man was in no position to care for himself, and he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On June 14, 2023, shortly before 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male who was no longer welcome at a residence he was visiting. Police say a 21-year-old man was in no condition to care for himself, and he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On June 13, 2023, Brandon police received a report of an assault at a residence on May 11, 2023. Police say a 25-year-old woman allegedly punched an adult male victim. The victim did not require medical attention. The female suspect was arrested on June 13, 2023 and later released to appear in court on August 17, 2023 on a charge of domestic Assault.
