Portage la Prairie RCMP investigate fatal train versus pedestrian collision
On June 13, 2023, at approximately 6:30 am, RCMP responded to a train versus pedestrian collision on 8th Street NW, in Portage la Prairie.
A train going west collided with a pedestrian.
The 43-year-old male pedestrian from Portage la Prairie, was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Portage la Prairie RCMP along with Canadian Pacific, continue to investigate.
