In a media release, Brandon Police said “shortly after 10:00 am on June 16th, family members of 20-year-old Vishay Patel reported that he was missing.
He was last seen on a home video surveillance camera leaving his residence in a Grey, 2012 Honda Civic. Family and police are concerned for his safety.
The vehicle was located in the Home Depot parking lot in the evening of June 16th. A witness reported possibly seeing him walking from Home Deport towards the Riverbank Discovery Center later in the evening.”
On Saturday, Brandon police tweeted that the public should avoid the Riverbank due to an ongoing search and rescue operation. There was no update provided Sunday by police on any results of the search.
