On the afternoon of June 20, Brandon police attended to a residence in the 100 block of 8th Street. They say officers arrested an intoxicated male who had allegedly uttered threats to harm the property owner. While in police custody, the suspect reportedly continued his aggressive behavior and threatened to harm the arresting officer, in addition to becoming combative and allegedly kicking the officer on the side of the head. No medical attention was required to the officer. A 54-year-old man was lodged at BPS to appear in court today for the charges of Uttering Threats X2 and Assault Police Officer.

On the evening of June 20, police attended to a residence in the 800 block of Frederick Street for a report of a male that was causing a disturbance. Police say when officers approached he door, the suspect exited the home and aggressively confronted police. During the interaction, the suspect allegedly became combative and threatened to harm the officers. The officers sustained no injuries. A 40-year-old man was lodged at BPS and will be released when sober with conditions to appear in court for the charges of Uttering Threats and Assault Police Officer.

On the evening of June 20. Brandon police attended to a residence in the 1600 block of Mctavish Avenue after receiving a report of an intoxicated male who was causing a disturbance. When officers located the suspect, he allegedly ran-off through several back lanes and yards. Police say when they caught up to the male, he continued to resist arrest, allegedly kicking two officers several times while being placed into the rear of a police cruiser. The officers sustained no injuries. A check of police records revealed the 17-year-old male to have an outstanding warrant off arrest, in addition to being bound by a Release Order whereby he is not to consume alcohol. He was lodged at BPS and will appear in court today for the Warrant, Assault Police Officer X2 and Failure to Comply with Release Order.
Police say after they placed the 17-year-old in the police cruiser, a 41-year-old man exited a nearby residence yelling at officers. He then reportedly ran up to the police cruiser, and punched the window. No damage resulted to the vehicle, however the male was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court August 17 for the charge of Mischief to Property Under $5000.

On June 21, Brandon police responded to an apartment in the 0 hundred block of Princess Avenue to a report an intoxicated male was damaging the interior of the residence and threatening the occupants of the home. Police say the male had allegedly assaulted his spouse and at the time of arrest, the 29-year-old became combative and resisted the efforts of officers. He was lodged at BPS and will appear in court today for the charges of Domestic Assault, Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Resist Arrest.

Arrest Warrant:
On the morning of June 20, police conducted a pedestrian check with a male in the 1100 block of 18th Street. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant of arrest for the 32-year-old male. The individual was lodged at BPS to appear in court today.
