Tuesday night’s storm (June 21) in southwest Manitoba may have produced a tornado.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Natalie Hasell says they saw radar signatures that suggested a possible tornado moving up from North Dakota to the Wakopa area southwest of Killarney.
She says they have received one image of grain bins damaged in the area, and are trying to confirm whether that was caused by a twister. So far, there have been no reports of any injuries.
Hasell says if you have photos or more information, you can contact Environment Canada via email at storm@ec.gc.ca, on Twitter at #mbstorm, or on the phone toll-free at 1-800-239-0484.
