A 66-year-old Powerview-Pine Falls man has been arrested by Manitoba RCMP in a deadly hit-and-run that happened back in April.
Police say a 75-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle as he was walking on the shoulder of Highway 59 in Scanterbury, northeast of Winnipeg.
In a media release, Manitoba RCMP say “66-year-old Richard Neyedly has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and Failure to Stop After Accident Causing Death. On August 23, 2023, he was served with a Summons to appear in court on September 8, 2023, in Selkirk.”
Selkirk RCMP continue to investigate.
