Manitobans are not a happy bunch when it comes to their work situation, in fact, the province came in last place for worker happiness this summer.
In a report from Global News , H-R firm A-D-P Canada conducted a survey for its ‘Happiness Index’ – and discovered that every region, except for Manitoba and Saskatchewan, were slightly more pleased with their workplace in August compared to last month.
In Manitoba, “people rated their work happiness a 6.6 out of 10, compared to the national average of 6.8.
The province also ranked last when it comes to compensation, benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
The study also measured happiness by generational demographics, and older Canadians – baby boomers on the verge of retirement – ranked their happiness highest across the board.”
