On the agenda at Brandon city council today (Sept 5), reports from the audit and finance committee and the city’s committee of the whole – also a presentation from Brandon University on next week’s homecoming celebrations. They’re scheduled to kick-off on September 14th.
Councillors will also consider a couple of re-zoning applications. Fowler Nissan has plans for a new dealership on properties along 38th and 39th streets, and VBJ Developments wants to build 142 condos east of Crocus Plains High School.
There’s also a special meeting, not open to the public, regarding a land sale for a sobering centre.
