Brandon’s Global Market, which has recently been operating in the Community Health and Housing Association (CHHA) space on Rosser Avenue, has announced it’s closing permanently.
It said in a social media post the Building Re-Fit Store no longer has the room to accommodate the market.

Last May, the non-profit was forced to move from its outdoor location on Rosser Avenue, which had occupied since 2010, for several reasons including maintenance costs for repairing the canopies, staffing expenses and property taxes. CHHA director Stephanie Lockerby said at the time, revenue generated from vendor rentals was not enough to cover expenses to run the market outdoors.
