An Alberta Clipper has dropped some snow on Brandon, but it’s the rapid decline in temperatures beginning this afternoon that has everyone talking.
The city is expected to get a total of 6 cm of snow through Tuesday morning, then behind this system, temperatures will fall to a low of minus-30 Tuesday night and only rise to minus-16 for a daytime high tomorrow. Expect the wind chill to be around minus-25. By Thursday, Brandon will see a more seasonal high of minus-5.
Further north – a Snowfall Warning is in place for the Dauphin area – they’re looking at between 10 and 20 cm of snow.
