On March 27th at 09:32 am, Brandon police attended to a residence in the 1500 block of Lorne Avenue. An 18-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for breach of his probation. He was released for court on April 23rd, 2024.

On March 27th, police arrested a 36-year-old male for Theft Under $5000. On March 18th, a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported the accused had allegedly stolen $50 worth of meat. He was identified via video surveillance. He will appear in court on May 23rd, 2024.

On March 27th, Brandon police attended to Brandon Correctional Center and arrested a 39-year-old female for Theft Under $5000. On March 18th, a business in the 1500 block of 1st Street alleged the accused had stolen $70 worth of clothing. She will appear in court on March 28th, 2024.

On March 27th at 3:16 pm, police were called to a verbal dispute between a male and a female in the 1500 block of Princess Avenue. A 27-year-old male and a 25-year-old female were arrested. Police say they were both on orders not to communicate with each other. The male was held for court on March 28th, 2024, and the female was released for court on May 5th, 2024.

-On March 27th at 6:24 pm, police were called to a business in the 1500 block of Rosser Avenue for an intoxicated female refusing to leave. A 37-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to provide her fingerprints. She will be released in the morning for court on May 17th, 2024.
-On March 28th at 00:58 am, police were called to the 700 block of 10th Street for a report a female was banging on doors. A 31-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court and theft under $5000. She was held for court on March 28th, 2024.
-On March 27th at 10:20 pm, police were called to a business in the 100 block of Victoria Avenue East for a male who was reportedly yelling and trying to steal from the store. A 36-year-old male was arrested. Police say he was also wanted for stealing craft supplies from a store in the Corral Center on March 26th. He will be released for court on June 3rd, 2024.
-On March 28th at 03:20 am, police received a call reporting a male was trying to break in to a female’s apartment in the 100 block of 4th Street. A 21-year-old male was arrested. Police say he also had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court and breaching his court order. He was held for court on March 28th, 2024.

On March 27th at 10:34 pm, Brandon police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 200 block of 8th Street. The vehicle is a 2017 grey Jeep Renegade with an Alberta plate. On March 28th at 03:30 am, Police received a call from a female reporting a male and female were being held at gunpoint at a business in the 1700 block of Middleton Avenue. Numerous police resources were called to help with the alleged hostage taking incident. Investigation later determined that nothing of the sort had taken place, and the caller was under the influence of methamphetamine.
