Places To Avoid

If you are planning a summer road trip and looking at some classic U.S. tourist destinations here’s something that might surprise you.  Travel publications have just released a list of the most overrated vacation spots.  Number one on the list is Mt. Rushmore, they say it’s boring.  Rushmore is followed by Las Vegas but mostly because it is not family oriented.  Rounding out the list, Plymouth Rock is described as underwhelming at best while Times Square is cool at first and then it isn’t.  Part of the problem is the large crowds and overpriced shops.  Personally I prefer the “staycation” seeing sights here in Canada but I also get the allure to travel to other countries.  Wherever your summer vacation takes you make sure you make the most of it.
