Popular gaming convention, PrairieCon, returns to the Keystone Centre in Brandon May 24-26, 2024 and this year’s theme is – Dinosaurs!
PrairieCon is a tabletop gaming convention that offers a unique opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow gamers, as well as try out new games and participate in tournaments. With a wide range of tabletop, board, card, and role-playing games available, there’s something for everyone. So, whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just starting, there will be plenty of options to keep you entertained. The convention will feature our annual Dungeons and Dragons tournament, demos, workshops, a ton of vendors, and for the first-time PrairieCon will be hosting a Cosplay contest open to both adults and kids.
Badge passes for PrairieCon are on sale now, and attendees can choose the games they want to play starting Saturday, April 20 at 12 pm. Games can fill up fast during Game Selection, so any attendees who are really wanting to get into a certain game are encouraged to buy their badges now and be ready for when Game Selection opens.
“PrairieCon 43 is shaping up to be another great gaming event,” said James Hood, President of the PrairieCon Board. “This year’s Dinosaur theme should bring all kinds of new and interesting excitement, costumes and dinosaur themed board games out onto the tables. I can’t wait!”
