You can now stay in Prince’s House from “Purple Rain” on AirBnB starting in August in Minneapolis. This is the house, that was featured in “Purple Rain” as part of the 40th anniversary of the legendary album and film. This newly restored home, located in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis, will be open to the public for the first time, only on AirBnB. That means guests like you and I can go in explore the house and kind of go crazy for the special tracks from Prince’s world in an exclusive studio session, wow!! Prince never actually lived in this house, but was said to love it!
Fans of the music legend will be able to request bookings for the “Purple Rain” house starting August 1st. AirBnB icons are featured in their own category right on the homepage. A countdown displays the time until each Icon goes live, and guests can request to book through the app. The lucky guests who are selected will receive a digital golden ticket, and more than 4-thousand tickets will be available in 2024! Would you go? Would cost be a factor for this experience? No word yet, on the actual cost, but Tim and I both said, we are in!! Happy Friday!
Cheers,
Shelly and Tim
