Arrest Warrants
-On May 5th at 11:11 am, Brandon police attended to a residence in the 700 block of 10th Street. A 57-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. She was held for court on May 6th, 2024.
-On May 5th at 3:11 pm, police attended to a residence in the 100 block of 5th Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was held for court on May 6th, 2024.
-On May 5th at 3:43 pm, Brandon police conducted a pedestrian check in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue. A 22-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. She was held for court on May 6th, 2024.
-On May 5th at 7:30 pm, a male turned himself in to Brandon Police Service as he was aware he had three outstanding warrants for numerous breaches of his probation. He was held for court on May 6th, 2024.
-On May 5th at 8:30 pm, Brandon police attended to Brandon Correctional Center and arrested a 26-year-old male as he had an outstanding warrant for breaching his probation. He will appear in court on May 6th, 2024.
Theft Under $5000
On May 5th at 1:28 pm, police received a call from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reporting a male had just grabbed several grocery and clothing items and fled the store. A 34-year-old male was arrested a short distance away. The stolen items were returned to the store. The accused was released for court on July 15th, 2024.
Break and Enter
On May 6th at 03:40 am, the owner of a business in the 00 block of 18th Street called to report a male had just smashed the front door of his business. The owner told police he had confronted the suspect, as he was in the business at the time, and the suspect took off on foot. Nothing was stolen. This matter is still under investigation.
