Father’s Day is the this Sunday June 16th, remember? Don’t forget your Dad, Step-Dad, your stand in for Dad, Dad to be, and those that just want to be a Dad too! Tim joked that his kids will probably forget that it’s Father’s day. I doubt it, because the loving way he talks about his kids, they won’t soon forget their Dad on Sunday.
I lost my Dad when I was just 32 years young, I have missed 26 Father’s Day without Samuel Yaremchuk. He was my Principal, my grade 7/8 home room Teacher, my mentor, and my friend. When you have a great Dad, like I did, everyday is Father’s Day to remember. I remember those cheesy coffee cups I bought him at Joe’s Hardware in Baldur, and the endless bottles of Old Spice from Beauchamp’s Variety too! He always saved my Father’s Day cards, or handmade notes, he was very sentimental. I am too! Big hugs to those like myself and Tim as well, that are missing our Dad’s this Father’s Day.
