-The Toronto Argonauts snapped the Montreal Alouettes 5 game win streak with a 37-18 win. Tonight, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1-4) host the Calgary Stampeders (2-2).
-Canada meets Uruguay Saturday in the third-place game at Copa America. Argentina and Columbia will meet for the Championship on Sunday. Also on Sunday – England plays Spain in the Championship game at Euro 2024.
-To try and streamline the development of junior players, Hockey Canada is trying out a series of changes in the western provinces. New rules include mandating that junior A players, under the age of 18, must continue to wear full-face protection.
-and the Blue Jays beat the Giants 5-3. Toronto is in Arizona today against the Diamondbacks.
