With apologies to Glen Frey, the heat is off.
A heat warning that blanketed much of the southern part of Manitoba has been lifted. Environment Canada lifted the warning yesterday as temperatures began to return to normal. According to their latest forecast, temperatures for the early week will be almost exactly seasonal.
Heat and humidity alike were in the forecast for this past weekend, however. Temperatures went into the low-30s Celsius with the humidex bringing them up even higher. The hottest temperatures in the province were over 40 degrees with the humidex.
Much of the province did not get below 20 degrees even at the coolest part of the evening.
