In a social media post this week, the City of Brandon says “in support of Council’s Strategic Plan, Traffic By-law No. 5463 has been amended to reduce speed on streets surrounding the Brandon University Campus.
Signage will be installed to indicate the new 30km/h speed zones. Streets include the 200 & 300 blocks of 20th St, as well as 1800 thru 2000 blocks of Louise Ave.
Once signage is installed and covers removed, speed reductions will be in effect.”
