-The Brandon Wheat Kings welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight to Westoba Place. They last met in the first game of the season when the Wheat Kings posted a 5-2 win. Brandon is coming off a 4-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Sunday.
-The Winnipeg Jets are in San Jose tonight against the Sharks. The Jets beat the Canadiens 4-2 last Saturday.
-The PGA Tour Americas schedule for 2025 has been released and the Manitoba Open will be hosted August 21st to 24th by Breezy Bend Country Club in Headingley. The Open will be rotated among five different golf courses over the next ten years. The 2026 Manitoba Open will be played at Elmhurst; Glendale will host the tournament in 2027; the 2028 event goes to Pine Ridge and Southwood will host in 2029.
-In the NFL on Monday – the Minnesota Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 30-12. The Vikings, who’ve already clinched a playoff berth, improved to 12-and-2. And also on Monday, the Atlanta Falcons downed the Las Vegas Raiders 15-9.
