-The Brandon Wheat Kings are back on the ice tonight when they welcome the Prince Albert Raiders. Brandon is on a 4-game winning streak after beating Saskatoon 6-3 on Monday.
-The Brandon U18 AAA Wheat Kings finished off 3 games in 3 days with a 6-0 win over the Kenora Thistles on Monday to improve to 37-5-1-2 and move into 1st place, one point ahead of the 2nd place Winnipeg Wild. Next action for Brandon is Wednesday when they host the Parkland Rangers in their final home game of the regular season.
-Canada will meet the U.S. in the final of the 4 Nations Hockey Tournament on Thursday. Canada downed Finland 5-3 on Monday – while the U.S. lost 2-1 to Sweden. The Americans had already clinched a berth in the final.
-In the Professional Women’s Hockey League – Boston beat New York 4-1 on Monday. Today, Minnesota is in Montreal.
-Rachel Homan’s team remains unbeaten at 4-and-0 at the Canadian women’s curling championship. Manitoba’s Kerri Einarson is 4th in Pool B, Kate Cameron is 5th, and Kaitlyn Lawes 7th.
