Several years ago I went to one of my Bucket List destinations – Nashville. Since then I have visited several times and I still get a rush from the atmosphere. Most memorable for me was visiting the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. You could literally feel the ghosts when touring the backstage area where so many of the greats hung out over the years. I distinctly remember thinking, as I stepped into that famous circle behind the microphone, Patsy Cline stood here. It was surreal and the feeling was indescribable. this year the Opry celebrates it’s 10thh Birthday. Just think of all the greats that have crossed that stage in 100 years. The party will feature a 3 hour live broadcast hosted by Blake Shelton with a long line of Opry members performing. Look for Reba, Jelly Roll, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, and Garth Brooks just to name a few. What a night that will be. the only thing better than witnessing it in the live stream would be sitting in that audience watching it in person.
