-The Brandon Wheat Kings play their last regular season home game tonight against the Regina Pats. On Saturday, Brandon is in Regina.
-The Winnipeg Wild beat the Winnipeg Bruins 3-2 in overtime to take their best-of-5 Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League semi-final series 3-games-to-2. The Wild will now meet the Brandon U18 AAA Wheat Kings in the Championship final beginning Saturday at J&G Homes Arena in Brandon.
-The Winnipeg Jets edged the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in overtime last night. With the win, the Jets hit 100 points in 70 games – the fastest in franchise history. The Jets host the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday.
-The BU Bobcats meet the Winnipeg Wesmen tonight in a quarter-final match at the 2025 U Sports Men’s Volleyball Championship at the Healthy Living Centre. The Wesmen are coming off winning their first-ever Canada West title.
-Canada has advanced to the playoff round at the Women’s World Curling Championship. Rachel Homan is 8-and-2 in third spot with two more games today against Italy and China.
