-The Winnipeg Jets dropped a 4-1 decision to the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, and despite the loss, they clinched the President’s trophy for most points in the NHL regular season with 114. Winnipeg plays its final regular season game on Wednesday against the Ducks.
-Canada is 2-and-1 and in second place behind the U-S in Group A at the World Women’s Hockey Championship. Canada plays host Czechia today.
-Rory McIlroy defeated Justin Rose in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to win The Masters. He becomes only the sixth golfer to complete the career Grand Slam. McIlroy joins Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only golfers to capture the four major championships in the Masters era.
