An Agricore grain elevator in Waskada, Manitoba – southwest of Brandon near the U-S border – was gutted by fire this morning.
Waskada CAO Shelly Boulet says the first report of the fire was made at around 5:00 am.

Fire fighters from the Waskada, Deloraine and Melita departments responded, and crews are expected to remain on the scene the rest of the day dousing hot spots.
The cause is not yet known.
