-The Dallas Stars edged the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on Wednesday to take a 1-0 lead in their second-round NHL playoff series. In the other game, the Toronto Maple Leafs downed the Florida Panthers 4-3 to lead their series 2-0. Tonight, the Oilers visit the Golden Knights, and the Hurricanes visit the Capitals. Edmonton and Carolina lead their series 1-0.
In the PWHL Semifinals -Toronto beat Minnesota 3-2 to take a 1-0 lead in the Best-of-5 series. Tonight, Ottawa is at Montreal for Game 1 of their series.
-The CFL has suspended Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros one game for failing to respond to an off-season drug-testing request. Not responding within 24 hours usually means a two-game suspension, but after a review, the league shortened it to one game. Collaros has never tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
-The Los Angeles Angels got by the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4. The series wraps-up today.
