-The Edmonton Oilers beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights 5-4 in overtime last night to take a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoff series. In the other game, the Washington Capitals topped the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 to
tie their series at one. Tonight, the Winnipeg Jets will try and even their series with the Stars. Dallas won Game One 3-2 on Wednesday. In the other game, the Maple Leafs visit the Panthers. Toronto leads 2-0.
-In the Professional Women’s Hockey League – Ottawa beat Montreal 3-2 to take Game 1 of their best-of-5 semi-final series. Tonight, Toronto leading 1-0 hosts Minnesota.
The Toronto Blue Jays avoided the sweep by beating the L-A Angels 8-5 on Thursday. The Jays are in Seattle today against the Mariners.
