Today marks the one-year anniversary of the disappearance of 24-year-old Trevin Steele whose body was located on June 2, 2024, at a home in Flin Flon. His death was the result of a homicide.
RCMP Major Crime Services officers have been working diligently on this investigation to find answers for Trevin’s family. We continue to seek out public assistance as we know there are people out there that have crucial information that can help move this homicide investigation forward.

Update #1 – Flin Flon RCMP looking for missing 24-year-old male
On June 2, 2024, Trevin Steele was located deceased in a residence in Flin Flon.
His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Trevin’s family described their son in the following way, “he was a young man of only 24 years, he was polite and well mannered, fiercely protective of his family and close friends, and had a soft compassionate soul. The people who were close to him shared a special bond and those people will carry him in their hearts forever”.
Trevin Steele was last seen on the morning of May 24 in Creighton, Saskatchewan, and the family is asking anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts around the time of his disappearance to contact the Flin Flon RCMP at 204-687-1422, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.

Flin Flon RCMP looking for missing 24-year-old male
On May 28, 2024, at 9:45 am, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of a missing 24-year-old man from an address located on Creekside Drive in Flin Flon.
Trevin Steele was last seen on May 23 at approximately 7:30 pm and last made contact with a family member on May 24 at 3:00 am.
He’s described as being 5’9” in height, 130lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a green plaid jacket with white sweat pants, white runners and a hat.
RCMP and his family are concerned for his wellbeing. Officers have made extensive patrols around the Flin Flon and Creighton area without success.
