On May 30, 2025, at approximately 10:30 pm, Russell RCMP responded to a report of a rollover involving an all-terrain vehicle on highway 482, one kilometer west of Dropmore.
According to a media release today, when officers arrived on scene, several bystanders were trying to assist the male driver of the ATV who was seriously injured.
The driver, a 63-year-old male from Dropmore was taken to hospital by EMS and then life-flighted by STARS to Winnipeg for further treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver was not wearing a helmet.
Russell RCMP continue to investigate.
