In a media release today, Dauphin RCMP report that on June 7, 2025, at 9:15 am, officers were dispatched to a robbery in progress at a business on Main Street South in Dauphin.
Officers responded immediately and when they arrived were advised by an employee that a male suspect had entered the store with a knife, went behind the counter and stole 20-25 cartons of cigarettes. He then fled down an alley before police arrived.
Officers along with Manitoba RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) conducted a search of the area and were not able to locate the suspect, but did locate a knife believed to be used in the incident.
After further investigation, it is believed the same suspect also came into the store on June 2, 2025, and used a stolen debit card.
