Brandon Police Service Chief Tyler Bates posted on social media today (June 18), “This is every parent’s worst nightmare, and our hearts are with Owen’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We continue to dedicate specialized resources to the search, assisting in the air with drones, and strategically on the ground with specialized K9s.
We are grateful for the incredible support from the community, including the HEART team from Oak Bluff Colony, who are assisting on the river.
At this point, we are hoping for new solid leads that will help us understand where Owen went after his night out at Houstons. Our focus remains on bringing Owen home, and we’re asking anyone with information to please come forward.”
It has now been four days since 18-year-old Owen Bedford was last seen. He was last seen leaving Houston’s Country Roadhouse at approximately 1:45 AM early Sunday morning.
We are urging anyone with doorbell cameras, security footage, or who was in the Houstons area Saturday night into early Sunday morning to check recordings immediately and think back. Even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping locate Owen. If you saw or heard anything, no matter how minor, please come forward now.
