-The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be without star running back Brady Oliveira for tonight’s home game against the Edmonton Elks. He’s out with a shoulder injury. The Bombers are looking for their third straight win – the Elks are still winless.
-In the Southwest Baseball League – the Brandon Young Guns downed Rivers 18-8, and Boissevain topped Souris 11-3.
-The Cleveland Guardians edged the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 in 10 innings.
